~ 1 in 3 Connecticut families struggles to afford an adequate supply of diapers.
~ Some babies are forced to sit for 12 hours or even an entire day in the same dirty diaper.
~ Government assistance programs, like SNAP and WIC, do NOT cover the cost of diapers.
~ Most childcare facilities require a supply of disposable diapers to be left with the child. This means parents and caregivers who don’t have enough diapers can’t access childcare, which may cause them to miss work or school.
Your diaper drive will play a meaningful role in helping us get more diapers to more families.
